Shaina and Colton went on our walk with us and brought along Xena and Star. So we had the six of us (3 people and 3 dogs) that went on the walk. The dogs loved it and all came home and passed out. Cuties.</p>
<p>I came home and had some fruit with yogurt for breakfast. For lunch I had whole wheat spaghetti noodles with peppers and some sausage in it. It was good. Haven&#8217;t decided on dinner yet. Hrm.</p>

<p>This morning on our walk we went to the park as usual. Well, we usually let Ruby off her leash to run around the park and tire her out. She loves it and it gives me a good little rest before walking back home. Today Ruby was showing her skills on the playground equipment. It amazes me how she can jump off and on this 5ft tall piece of equipment then proceed to run all around the park and in the little creek we let her go into and then still have energy!</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve gone on morning walks 3 days in a row which is good. Haven&#8217;t had anything bad and have been doing pretty darn good on my food and actually eating! So far so good! I haven&#8217;t decided when exactly my weigh day should be. Probably Monday though. That seems good.</p>

<p>On our way to the park we got to see a deer. The deer was drinking from a little creek that is near the park. Unfortunately it ran away before Jamie could snap a picture of it. It was beautiful though and made the walk even more enjoyable.</p>
<p>Ruby enjoyed being at the park and running around it. I wore shoes without socks and got some blisters on my heels. So, I walked barefoot some of the way home! I don&#8217;t see how I did it while I was a kid!</p>

I am only going to use coffee with creamer for a morning treat in the mornings. I am going to start setting a scheduled time to walk in the mornings and I am going to go whether I want to or not. It wasn&#8217;t officially but it was the first day we hadn&#8217;t walked in the last couple of days so that is what I am leaving it at. However, the food was still on key. For dinner I got to use my new (and bigger than my old) George Foreman grill. We had Tilapia, butter &amp; herb wild rice and cottage cheese. It was delicious.</p>
<p>Tonight we are going on our walk when it gets cooler.</p>

<p>The real problem with the heat I see right now is that it does take away my appetite. I just don&#8217;t want to eat anything when I am sweating and so hot. I am drinking lots of water. Here&#8217;s hoping I can actually stick to the walking this time around.</p>

This morning I figured that I always am waiting about 15-20 minutes for something to heat in the oven anyway that I might as well wait that long for a piece of chicken to cook in the George Foreman grill. So, for lunch I had cottage cheese, salad with basalmic vingearette, and a piece of chicken with a tiny bit of Fajita marinade on it. It was super delicious. In fact, I am thinking of making lunches like that from now on. It really doesn&#8217;t take that much out of my day and it is a lot more healthy for me!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I know I haven&#8217;t been so active blogging but I have been doing my walking. We even got prong collars for the dogs so they are better behaved on the leashes. It has worked wonders because I am able to walk one of them myself. We went on a walk yesterday for about 30 minutes I think it was and this morning we went on a little walk for about 30 minutes or a tad bit more again. Man did I sweat! There is a nice wind but it is hot still. I feel good about going out and getting a walk in so early though.</p>
<p>Had some breakfast this morning. Not focusing on food right now but also am trying not to eat so horribly. I have weighed myself here and there but nothing official yet because the first week I really didn&#8217;t try too hard. There was a pound loss shown but I am not going by that. I will however start weighing officially this next week. Perhaps I will make Monday my weigh days. Mondays usually suck so I don&#8217;t know if I want to add weight into the mix. I&#8217;m still deciding on a day! Just wanted to say that I am walking and trying!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So after months of being inactive on this website and my diet I am ready to get back into the swing of it! To kick this newly formed attitude and since it is a new time of trying to lose the weight, I revamped the website. I am more or less starting all over with it. I deleted the previous website and am working on making everything fresh. This layout is super cute and bright and is just what I wanted to be back in the swing of things.</p>
<p>So, today Jamie and I did some weight training. Yesterday we got a bow-flex type machine for free and I plan on putting it to good use. In the evenings we are going to start walking which is fantastic. That is starting tomorrow.</p>
<p>I am still doing this to this website so a lot of things may be missing and not here so don&#8217;t worry! It&#8217;s coming!</p>
