Lunch - workin’ it

So today for lunch I decided to not take the easy frozen way out. This morning I figured that I always am waiting about 15-20 minutes for something to heat in the oven anyway that I might as well wait that long for a piece of chicken to cook in the George Foreman grill. So, for lunch I had cottage cheese, salad with basalmic vingearette, and a piece of chicken with a tiny bit of Fajita marinade on it. It was super delicious. In fact, I am thinking of making lunches like that from now on. It really doesn’t take that much out of my day and it is a lot more healthy for me!




Walking Around

I know I haven’t been so active blogging but I have been doing my walking. We even got prong collars for the dogs so they are better behaved on the leashes. It has worked wonders because I am able to walk one of them myself. We went on a walk yesterday for about 30 minutes I think it was and this morning we went on a little walk for about 30 minutes or a tad bit more again. Man did I sweat! There is a nice wind but it is hot still. I feel good about going out and getting a walk in so early though.

Had some breakfast this morning. Not focusing on food right now but also am trying not to eat so horribly. I have weighed myself here and there but nothing official yet because the first week I really didn’t try too hard. There was a pound loss shown but I am not going by that. I will however start weighing officially this next week. Perhaps I will make Monday my weigh days. Mondays usually suck so I don’t know if I want to add weight into the mix. I’m still deciding on a day! Just wanted to say that I am walking and trying!
